In the week approaching our schedule looks like this:
Monday: Neuro Physical Examination (Skills Sheet): Pass/Fail
Well Patient Folder Due: (where we created a chart about a friend/family member
Tuesday: Anatomy Lecture Exam: Non-cumulative third exam of Neuro and Extremities
Wednesday: EKG Final: Cumulative and 40% of course grade
Thursday: Anatomy Lab Practical: Last day in the cadaver lab
Friday: Physical Assessment Final: Cumulative and 20% of course grade
Needless to say, the week prior to this was spent in the library and studying with my nose in a book. I just have to do what I normally do for finals and that is: relax while studying and think "big concepts." I hope I do well but regardless I know that I learned so much this semester. It is CRAZY how much someone can learn in only a few months. These instructors and course structure is amazingly condensed and informative.
I will say that in just these few months our class has gotten very close with one another as well. I have studied with so many different groups of people and learned about so many cultures, families, and lifestyles. This experience is like no other! I love how supportive and group oriented everyone in this program is because I would not be where I am not if it were not for the support my classmates have given me.
One more week (...and a-whole-nother year)! Lets do this!
