The HVCC PA Alumni Association held a dinner to celebrate National PA Day (October 6th) with a silent auction and to thank all its sponsors. To represent our class of 2017, 14 students attended the dinner to mingle with alumni from the program and learn more about what being a PA is all about. We were very privileged to hear a former professor of the program, Ed Houlihan, speak about the sociology of medicine. His speech was a great mix of traditional ideas and current issues in this medical profession. Not only did we have a friendly speaker and a great dinner, but some of our classmates also won some things at the silent auction!

**As many of you can tell, I graduated AMC's program in May of 2017. Current plan is to start a new blog related to my Fellowship after PA school. Stay tuned for the link and updates :)**
